The name of the firm needed to move away from its collection of partners’ names as individuals retired and long-term employees became partners. The company also wanted to build awareness of its entrepreneurial consulting approach in serving clients to distinguish it from larger, national accounting firms.
Scheitlin helped refine the business name to BGBC Partners, representing a collective group of firm partners and employees working together as business advisors. The positioning statement “Strength in Numbers” communicates the philosophy of the firm, the staff experience, relationships with clients, and the expertise within the industry. Brand and marketing materials, web site, signage and an advertising campaign promoted the name change within Indianapolis’ business community.
